
Jalessa handles a wide range of matters throughout New York and New Jersey, primarily focusing her practice on toxic torts, and rail, bus, and other transportation litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Jalessa practiced workers’ compensation law at a New Jersey firm. Jalessa also clerked for the Honorable Robert E. Brenner, J.S.C. in the civil division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean County Vicinage. During law school, Jalessa was Assistant Editor of the UMass Law Review, President of the Black Law Student’s Association, class representative on the Student Bar Association, Law School Liaison for UMass Dartmouth’s Pre-Law Society and UMass Dartmouth NAACP member.
Prior to attending law school, Jalessa worked as a talent and production assistant on various television series’ filmed in New York City.
