Michael Gioia focuses his practice on defending insurers in complex insurance coverage litigation.  These matters involve a wide variety of underlying claims, including asbestos, pollution, products liability, construction disputes, toxic torts and various other business and personal injury torts.  Michael has also handled coverage matters involving insureds in bankruptcy litigation.  In addition to his insurance coverage experience, Michael has significant experience in complex commercial liability matters, including contract and reinsurance disputes and professional liability actions.  Michael also counsels clients on policy analysis and the handling and resolution of complex insurance coverage claims.
