Recent Awards and Recognitions December 2011 – Daniel Gillin was elected to a three-year term on the Philadelphia Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Executive Committee. The YLD Executive Committee manages and directs the business and activities of the YLD's more than 2,900 members, including oversight of 20 committees in the areas of public service, law-related education and service to the legal community. December 2011 – Andrew Kornblau was elected to the Rutgers-Camden Law School Alumni Association Board. The Board provides scholarships to students, sponsors award ceremonies that celebrate outstanding graduates and organizes networking events throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, and Washington, DC. September 2011 – Mark Landman and Lou Corsi have been named again to the annual NY-Metro List of Super Lawyers. September 2011 – LCBF earns 2012 Metropolitan (New York) First Tier Ranking for Railroad Law by Best Lawyers for a second year in a row. Mark Landman, John Bonventre, James Woolsey and Yuri Brunetti were named 2012 Best Lawyers in America for their practice in Railroad Law. June 2011 – Mark Landman began to serve his term as President of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel. Mark has represented Class One railroads in state and federal courts around the country for over 30 years. April 2011 – Andrew Kornblau and Daniel Gillin obtained their certification to sit as Arbitrators in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas Compulsory Arbitration Program and have begun deciding cases on three-person panels this year. With more than 20,000 cases a year resolved at the arbitration level, the Compulsory Arbitration Program is one of the most successful programs of its kind in the nation. |
